Mission Statement

The mission of the Museum of Speed at the Bedford Fairgrounds, Bedford, PA is to preserve the history of motor sports and auto racing through the collection and preservation of racing machines, documents, racing paraphernalia and photographs. The purpose of the Museum is to educate the public about the evolution of racing and the history of motorsports in PA., Md. and nearby states, from its inception to the present. This is accomplished through exhibitions, educational presentations and memorable collections.
